Im struggling today with RT crossword. Can anybody help get me started.

I started a "Radio Times #21" thread at
12.02 today but this thread was started later ( unfortunately with people giving answers rather than help).

It's not compulsory (is it?)to use the RT Club thread. In fact if you want the answer it would be a very unwise move. Live and let live Navigator.

Hi Terry,There can be no question of compulsion and I am not suggesting that anybody has done anything untoward. It is simply unfortunate for those of us who like to persevere with a difficult clue to be given the answer rather than a bit of help.
This is a long standing problem and I see no ready solution. Separate threads such as "RT44-clues" and "RT44-answers" would be
nice but I'm afraid totally unworkable.
Finally I bear no animosity to you and others
who share my enthusiasm for these puzzles.
