Good morning all!
Just back from a short break and have caught up with several crosswords. Tonight will be the DT crosswords!
RT this week was OK but would agree with previous posts about 7A &18D. Like Wee Jock did like 10A & 14A.
Having been away does mean that the garden needs my attention for the next couple of days!! No shortage of work here!
Best wishes to all

We have been to Harris and Lewis and North & South Uist and Benbecula. Yes,we went to Iona, but it was raining so hard we couldn't see owt. Joy of joys - fulfilled a lifetime ambition to go to Staffa - it was wild and wonderful. My husband wants to go to St kilda??????
We do like the Midlands and find getting lost in the Cotswolds a real pleasure, but we can't help wanting to be by the sea and on an island.
There has been a mouse living in our bathroom for 5 days. Our bad cat brought one in and let it go. It has been living in the boxing-in round the pipes, so we have had to feed it on muesli & cheese and keep the door shut. Still, he didn't eat it, so I won't stop his pocket money.

Hi, Murphy, It's funny how when they bring something in, they let it go, then spend the next two days on search duty. After this, they forget about it, and we are left with the task of returning it to the field. From time to time, I have had to deal with bats and baby rabbits delivered by the same miscreant. She does get annoyed when you take her prey off her.

Just popped on as I've been struggling with 6D since Wednesday and needed help. Thank you Caravaggio for your explanation, realised that I'd got 11A slightly wrong and then it all became clear, so thanks again. By the way got the answer to 18D but still can't figure it out!

Thanks Caravaggio for the comment about 8a. I was unsure until you suggested substituting laboratory for dog. Can now post it off.

Hello my Darlings, I have not deserted you, it's just I have been unwell and not had the inclination to do crosswords, just one to get in this weeks puzzle (Radio Times Prize Crossword No.17), 2 Down ~ Scoff at bear twice (4-4), don't give me a straight answer, it spoils the fun, just a little help along the way please.

THICKO.

Hi Thicko
I always leave the crossword until later in the week by which time everyone else has moved on to the next one! I enjoy reading all the posts though and sometimes actually manage to complete a puzzle with the help of all the extra clues. for 2d think of a bear of little brain. Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break. We visited family and drank quantities of Pimms. Regards to all.
