apart from the nuisance value that some people could suffer by revealing an e-mail address, selling verified e-mail addresses to spammers, targeting companys - whatever - is very big business.I'm 99.99% convinced that you are what you say,but why make the effort if there is a risk?
Also,Dropbox,or any other file share utility, would mean that you would not have to e-mail everybody individually, just put the address up once.
btw, i think my penis could use some weights, but hey! the ladies disagree.

OK guys, just tried the Dropbox feature. I've installed it, but when I have looked at it. It seems to have put all my files in it, including photos and college work. How do I make it secure so people can only open the crossword files. Like I said before, I've only been computing for about a year and only just on internet. I dont want to open all my files to all and sundry, you know what I mean, with all those weirdo's about!!!

Post a NEW thread headed "message for Bullfrog" he seems to know all about these things. run it by him. If he can't solve it force feed him the enlarger stuff until he explodes.

i've never used this piece of software but you should have a folder named something like 'public',only files in that folder will be available to others.
drag and drop the file you want to share into that folder.
then you need to get the url to give to us(over to Bullfrog).nearly always easier than it sounds.
still not solved your 1st clue - any hints?

Can't help with the techy stuff Les40, but I think your clues are good. The trouble with themed crosswords is that once the theme has been "cracked", the rest of it can fall into place quite readily. There are only 50 US states after all, so you've got to be quite tricky with the cluing. Good luck.

Les40,

Your 1st clue (I think I've got it)was pretty fiendish - to me anyway. I only had 9 to choose from but the penny took a long time to drop.

Hi Les,
Just right click on the file in the Public folder that you want to share. In the list of options you'll see Dropbox, scroll down and highlight that and in the next list of options click Copy Public Link. Then paste it here.
