A good puzzle this week with some clever clues. My favourite is 23a - Bird plunged across the Atlantic (4). Some good anagrams too.

Could it be dove?

Bought my copy of the RT early this week, just finshed it, funnily enough 23a was the last clue I got. Quite like 15a.

I too thought it was a nice easy one this week at just over half an hour. 15A also made me smile but I thought 6D was very clever.

Finished the crossword, but what's the Wordfinder? RROTESOSMCPNIE.

I don't usually bother with the wordfinder but having now looked at it here's a clue - his first name was Endeavour. Does that help?

I agree, not too bad this week, and I enjoyed all the clues others have mentioned. Thought 18a was a bit obscure - over 25 years old. Good job it was an anagram or I would never have got it"!
