Think I'm there. Still not wholly sure what the theme is, despite getting the unclued clue.

The theme escapes me also(as well as one answer) - was wondering if 32A is relevant given 9/10A in Guardian 25,185 yesterday

Not sure I see the connection you make, but I also don't see where "Antoine's" fits into 32ac. Can you see the wordplay in 7dn - I can't. My thinking at the moment is that the theme is the number of obsolete words included in the answers, but it's a bit tenuous.

Peterm - I took Antione to be a "French" indicator

Thanks Ixion. 32ac makes sense now, as does 7dn. Still can't see any theme linked to 32ac and Saturday's Guardian. It doesn't help that I've got no idea why the theme for Saturday's Guardian was chosen.

Can anyone(that probably means you Peterm)give me an alternative CLUE or hint for 9A?

Its OK Peterm - worked it out now - 9A that is - not the theme!
