stuck on three/four of these:

No 1 a (6 letters) of pears
No 6. a (8 letters) of scouts
No 30 a (6 letters) of strawberries - (could this one be basket?)
also a query on No 25 - a (5 Letters) of gold - I've got glint for this - any other ideas

These are absolute guesses, but ...
How about a BUSHEL of pears?
No 8-letter words come to mind for scouts. I'd have thought a TROUP or PATROL of scouts. Based on this, the only associated word would be DIVISION. I've never heard of this in relation to scouts. As for gold ????
