Morning All,
I seem to have REDOUBTING (or RECOUNTING ) for 26A but how does that fit the clue GETTING OTHERS TO DO THE FIGHTING ?

I also have no idea what LIFT BIRD 27D is all about.
Any help/explanation would be appreciated.
