Just need the row/column - but I am completely mystified as to which one it is.

Desperately trying not to give too much away, but is 67193 in ANY order pertinent to the row/column?

We finally crept over the line but still don't understand 25d.

Thanks, Deuce.

I'm a bit puzzled by the definition in 9d. I can only think of one journalist, an actual person rather than a definition, but, at least according to Google, this person is still working, so why "former" - or have i got it wrong?

Like you, Brendan, I was surprised at the (mis-)use of the word "former".

Thanks Will, sounds like we've got the same 'journalist'.

Upsetter for 25d try Googling the second and third words - but make the third “date” so you avoid a lot of matchmaking sites!

Will and Brendan, my journalist is also still very much active although no longer an employee. I wondered if a broadcasting body might have been edited out of the clue..
