Sorry Chrisg, my "Yippee" in post 8 was meant to indicate that "relativise" was not correct and so I privided an additional letter. The "Yippee" bit was my delight that the first clue was proving difficult. Great heavens! I was about to quote Terry in post 10 when I noticed The Joker had solved it simultaneously in Post 9. No wonder he was miffed. Sorry again The Joker, please put it down to my (rapidly) advancing years. I only noticed it this minute.
Chrisg, sorry for misleading you.
"Never odd or even" is the palindrome. How did you get "relativise" from the clue?

Hi Jolan...revitalise came from an anagram of "it reveals one (I)...ah well..cant get em all right !!
