Hi geeker
Is that not a thing in the US? I've seen them, but perhaps they are called "favours"? (Sorry, "favors"!)

I am stuck on the last one. Any clues would be appreciated.

22dn. Ramshackle boozer turned up scoffing snack (4-2)

I have ?E?T ?P.

I did not think UP would be in the answer as it is part of the clue. Could be Heat Up or Beat Up but not sure why.

Thank you for any clues.

It's a poor clue, but I think it's BEAT UP

PUB (boozer) reversed around TEA - but it's TAE! Don't know!!

PUB is reversed around EAT (“snack” is I used as a verb rather than a noun).

chrise@23:

From the picture I saw via Google, it's definitely a thing in the US, but I honestly don't know what it's called. I'm only familiar with that object in a competition context, for instance taking the "blue ribbon". I've never heard 5 used over here...but on googling "blue ribbon prize" 5 occurred in some hits, so it could be my ignorance.
