I have one clue letf to solve in today's Daily Mail - 8 Across - 'Occupants of zoo in Milan complex like cages'. Letters are A-I-A-S. I'm pretty sure that the answer is 'Animals', but don't know why - can anyone help? I can see a possible anagram of Milan, but not sure where the cages come in!

thats what i didn't understand except that its right. Only animals in cages but?

like= as. as goes around (cages) the anagram of milan.

Believe it or not, immediately after posting, I just worked it out. The 'cages' means A----S surrounds Milan anagram! I should have known better!
