In fact, it doesn’t really need to be in question form so also…

It was, perhaps, a mistake for an eggshell blond or, more bluntly, a slaphead to give an answer that led to so many hairy clues but, c'est la vie.

There were many fine clues leading to mythical and hirsute beasts, although it did take a long time before there was a mention of Lon Chaney. Raffle, the mentioner, did, however, seem to refer to the "correct" answer with his DJ clue.

One person who read my mind was darla, who came up with the short, sweet and brilliant:

Jack the lycanthrope.

A clear winner.

There is a lot of music to come, split into two so, pour yourself a large claret or a strong black coffee and make some sandwiches and give me a few minutes to post.

My first love is traditional music but this comes a close second.

Many years ago, a house-mate had several American LPs featuring music from the sixties.

Many of them featured Robert Weston Smith AKA …

Hang on Sloopy - The McCoys, featuring Wolfman Jack.

So:

Old Time Rock & Roll

The day the music died..

La Bamba

One of the greats.

CHUCK BERRY : Johnny B. Goode (1958) HD

This ain’t real rock and roll but, the dancing is and some might recognise the band in the opening shot.

"Save the Last Dance for Me"

For those who didn’t recognise the band.

Bill Haley His Comets Rock Around The Clock OST 1956 Remastered And Colorize

For those who aren’t suffering from overload.

Top up the grand cru or Kopi luwak and prepare for part two,

1961 and a peripubescent crush:

Brenda Lee - Let's Jump The Broomstick

Moon being Moon. The Ox’s nimble fingers. Townsend like Zebedee on speed. Daltry with the most iconic scream in rock history.

Won't Get Fooled Again

This isn’t rock and roll but I discovered it yesterday and if you’re still feeling a bit low…

Flashmob Flash Mob - Ode an die Freude ( Ode to Joy ) Beethoven Symphony No.9 classical music

Sorry for all the faff caused by this tech ignorant old fart.

Ode to Joy however, would cheer up Job in one of his blackest black moods. Enjoy.
