25 Across - A pair of blunders when one has to hide nothing is curious (4)

The answer is agog, but can anyone parse it? Presumably the a is from the initial a, and I assume the “nothing to hide” deals with the o inserted between the gs, but where do they come from? Presumably “two blunders”, but what is the link?

Suggestions gratefully received.

A blunder is an own goal or OG and one of them hides the O to give GOG

I'm thinking 1A is probably CLICKS but I don't really like it, especially as it means 2D can only be LEVEL, and I can't think of any sense in which that means 'Train'.

Am I missing something?

Is it as in " take aim"...as per in shooting/ gunsight etc?? Just a thought....
