Everyone says this is an easy crossword…I wish!

Can I ask for some directions please?

9a - This marine is a blue (5)

I have the middle letter T, but I am lost.

10a - No sinners in this parish church? (3,6)

12a - Take place in powerful movement to spend lavishly (7)

9a For “this” read “the answer”, so a word that can precede marine to make a kind of blue.
10a a common name for a church, literally the opposite of “no sinners”.
12a two letter abbreviation for place inside a word for powerful movement meaning to spend lavishly. “Take” is a bit misleading but you can read it as an instruction to the solver.

9 there are two equally valid answers, but only one has a T in the middle. It's a five letter word that can precede "marine" to make a shade of blue.

10 If there are no sinners, are they ??? ?????

12 Place can be abbreviated PL
