I've got a full grid with 6 members of the set highlighted in the grid and the associate member below the grid. I now need to check all my missing letters as I have one missing and several redundant additional.
It does all work out, but once the set has been highlighted it hardly matters. I thought 15a was a bit daft in that vein, though I’ve seen puzzles before which exhibit the same thing
Indeed it does Quisling. I was looking at anagrams rather than grid fill. Once the members of the set are identified the method in which the (seemingly random) extra letters are ordered becomes very obvious
