Hello fellow forumsters
Has anyone been able to download the latest Azed puzzle? All I get is the grid, no clues. Now I like a challenge, but I think this is taking things a bit far.

Hi Buzzbee, I found this on another site:-

Might take a bit of rotating but it should work:-0

Buzzybee, I removed Guardian from the heading, it confused Cockie who then started a duplicate thread.

I’ve checked back and the default seems to be just Azed, search did not find a Guardian Azed.

Thanks Norah

Yes, the Azed is published on Sundays, and is therefore strictly speaking an Observer puzzle. However, it does appear on the Guardian website, and that is where most people will look for it. The same is true of the Everyman puzzle.

Not too worried about this, as long as solvers know where to come for help.

Thanks Brendan

It's a competition puzzle so I'm grateful for this early start. I generally enter and have a dismal success rate. I will be speaking on behalf of the strugglers at the AZED lunch at Oxford on May 3rd. If anyone who follows these threads is coming I'd be pleased to meet.

Crossword with clues has now appeared. Enjoy the lunch in Oxford, WilliamSeal. I generally do not do the Azed unless it is a special (Playfair, Printer's Devilry, etc), partly because of an over reliance on very obscure, often technical, words and especially Scottish dialect words. This latter despite being married to a Scot.

I love the archaic and obscure words, and also enjoy the Scotticisms. Hate Playfair but do most of the others. I'm stuck on 28d: "Chump from south I don't understand as before". Coming from NZ, I'm familiar with an Aussie word but can't parse it.
