Yup, it’s a T. The cross clue was “Listeners will have time for right food” for which I’d put “Ears” when it should be “Eats”.

Easy to get letter replacement clues mixed up. Glad it’s sorted.

You have reminded me of a clue I solved years ago in an Everyman. It was an anagram, I had UP TO HIS ???? IN IT.
The letters left were A R S E. I thought "Surely not?".
Not - it was EARS.
