Very nice Buddy! Recommend others give this a try.

Some well known names on the list of former NTSPP setters, though I’m intrigued as to the origin of the puzzle. Did the DT once have two Saturday puzzles?

According to the web site, it was started to give people an extra puzzle after doing the Saturday DT. Not that there aren't 30 other puzzles to do elsewhere....

Thanks, buddy. Very nice. Really enjoyable and I found it more challenging than many dailies.

Thanks for posting this , Buddy. Enjoyed the puzzle, and had a smile over 23a. The "a" in 26a. trips me up every time :)

I got a smile from 23a also, even more so seeing as that Yank Buddy had to use the British pronunciation.

Very nice, Buddy. Just the right level for a Monday.
