Shashlik is not a patisserie item Druh. And you need a word for fruitcake in there too after the slang for money (the greens). What are US policemen always shown as eating in the cop drama series? I agree it is harder without the check button.
I was stuck for ages on 14D because I had the first word of 14A wrong: thought it was the place rather than person sense of boozer, which fit with the other crossers as well as the definition.
The mounds of fat are what some of us may have in a week's time....
Can anyone help parse 14d, I'm sure I have the right answer.
I found this an easier one, but great fun and in the festive spirit. (literally!)
14d is a 4 letter word for a questionable or debatable point inside a 5 letter word ( with one letter cut off the end )for what you do at coconuts at the fair.
