Thank you all who entered this week's Clueless and a warm welcome to Eider, whom I hope will join us in our other weekly clue-writing competitions.
Plenty of inventiveness and skill on show from the twelve setters. Of the several golfing references, I liked Tyke's 'sink a few' best, and of all the wicked ladies, Buddy's 'hooker changing direction' was my favourite. I enjoyed Wil's old French love and Simplesimon's complete calculation, and thought Aristo's 'stretches of emptiness' wonderfully expressive.
One clue in particular jumped out at me; possibly because the subject matter is close to my heart, but probably because it feels as well-woven as the finest silk - Jono @28. Congratulations!
