I clocked the peripheral message early on which meant the gridfill proceeded pretty quickly. But I can’t see the final example in the grid. Time to put it aside and do something useful instead! Thanks to Lavatch for the fun (and frustration!).

Did not know the quote, but filled in pretty quickly once I had some easy guesses with the unclued entries.
