Helen...or put another way...
dash dash dash/dot dash dot/dash/dot dot dot dot/dash dash dash...I promise I wont try and explain this further in morse code !
Thanks for the clues, I've finally got it! Not used in everyday conversation obviously! (Never heard of them!) Still struggling with the cryptic one I'm afraid!
Of course it is Morse Code. It would only matter to those who recognise GTZM. Forget it! I just thought the morse men might once have been GTZM men also. I'm off for good on this topic
dit dah / dit dah dit. dit dit dit dah / dit dah.
My apologies to The Judge. I will not forgive myself for slipping up on Z..since I was trained as a sparker many years ago..must be age creeping up on me. And not recognising the callsign GTZM is also unforgiveable..if my memory serves me correct it related to all ships fitted with Marconi equipment....in my later years GBXZ was used for all RN ships...nuff said on this subject! must be totally boring for most people on this site !!
