I've been doing some of their previous puzzles - this one is by Hawk, January 2024.
There is a misprint in the definition, which needs to be an H, so I presume 'skip' becomes 'ship'.
"Ten once shifted skip from Mars?" (3) UFO
I can't see the wordplay.

I think have you have to move each letter in TEN forward by one in the alphabet to get UFO.

Arthur C. Clarke always denied that the computer in 2001 was called HAL as a one-shift backwards from IBM, but it seems too much of a coincidence for it not to be true!
