I have soothing pictures of fields of red roses floating before my eyes as I type this but, congratulations to Tyke for bringing good honest vulgarity into the proceedings with your builder's bum clues. Close but no cigar.

Two came close to the clue I would have submitted. Paul @ 14 was just beaten by amej @13 with his dark master. I had dark stream as my offering Congrats amej. Traditional presents for you.

I have been listening to my namesake for 60 years and met him a couple of times. At a fiddle festival, he played this at my request. Originally a pipe tune, you can just hear the swish of the kilts:

I discovered Fairport just before Swarb joined. A perfect version of a perfect song:

A proud Liverpudlian and Lancastrian I have lived for the last 20 years in a friendly and picturesque part of Wales. Here are my local boy band playing a personal and national favourite:

Hope you like them.

Congrats again.

Hi swarbrules
You seem to have linked to the same song twice. I was looking forward to hearing the pre-swarb Fairport!

I remember Richard Thompson appearing on Folk on 2 (or similar) and offering a prize for the first person to name the first female member of Fairport. They had to ditch the competition because he got it wrong!
(It was Judy Dybble, not Sandy Denny....)

Blame my poor eyesight. The same poor eyesight that missed the date in the blurb for my first posting. You'll need to do a double change amej. The same poor eyesight that means I have to spend a long time trying to find and correct misprints.
