It's either very easy or extremely difficult - which is it?

I've almost finished it, Rosie, but it's taking longer than usual. It's rather complicated, shall we say. I have 2 left to find.

There has been so much sheer nastiness on this site recently that I wonder if it's worth trying to make a contribution.

It was certainly difficult enough for me - the ones I saw early on were in different areas of the grid and it was difficult to get going - the theme didn't reveal itself easily either - I won't be letting hypotheses spoil my sense of achievement at completing it!
