As there are no posts, I assume everyone found this a gentle solve after some pretty difficult Inquisitors. Thanks Vismut for an enjoyable puzzle and a reminder of something that would thankfully not be countenanced today.

A pleasant breeze and the reveal made me laugh. I think the movie NOPE put paid to any attempts to resuscitate that particular entertainment concept!

The {last word of the Down message) is in the grid, but you need to replace that with the actual (first word ). Hope that helps, isn't too cryptic!
