11A The clue is : Anchor before going in for fish dish

From the interlocking letters and the first word of the clue I believe the answer to be "Kedgeree" and while I understand a "kedge" to be an anchor I am stumped as to how the remaining letters of the word i.e. "ree" are derived from "going in for"

It may be that I am not looking at the solution from the right direction so any help will be gratefully received
