I gave up on yesterday's IQ, having little knowledge of, and less interest in, the general subject, but was delighted by the EV. It was very bliss to be young in 1963. Thanks, Ifor, you brought a tear to an old man's eye. (One day we'll get a puzzle based, if not on Bruckner symphonies, on something more Festival Hall than Glastonbury.)

A great puzzle. Ifor never disapppoints. Many years ago I spent a year working in Austria and heard a German version of one of the songs involved. The chorus of that version has been an earworm since I finished this.
