God puzzle, but I'm tempted to write to the Eye's celebrated "Pedantry Corner" over 25a ("Country finished if Republican gets in - this will get you over the rough (9)" as the company that makes said vehicles style their name as (4,5).

Also, in my copy of the mag, 20ac refers to 1dn, when it should be 1ac. I would get out more, but I spend all my time doing the Eye crosswod 😃😃😃

Suits, double definition - Clubs(cards), suits and Suits is a slightly derogatory term for business people.

Chambers also has the 4,5 answer to 25a
