An odd one, and one that's definitely wrong this week!

Odd one:
Sweet plumber, place elsewhere (5,7)
a) surface makes no sense
b) have you ever seen that anagram indicator?

Wrong one:
Office kiss underneath furniture (7)
The answer is plural!

ChrisE, those are awful - especially the second one! How did the clue, answer, get through? The first one isn't quite so bad. Yes, the surface reading is a bit grim, but I have to say I couldn't decide whether or not I liked 'elsewhere' as an anagram indicator.

If the kiss is underneath 'office' ...
furniture is plural

16 is a not very common word for trying to undermine a government or similar, with the first letter deleted
