The intruders were a little tricky and there are a couple of normal clues that I can't fully parse. 18d isn't in my Chambers, but google found it.

Yes, quite a fun puzzle in the end though I thought it was pretty tough when I started!

Gitto, 18 D isn't in Collins, but is in another crossword 'Bible', the Oxford Dictionary of English.

I loved this, mainly because it's only the second ever Inquisitor that I've finished!

Sybilla, Bad gives Ill,'on' gives Leg (cricketing stuff) and 'acting' gives A. Keeping = put the rest inside the Ill - so Il Leg a l. Illegal, wrong

27a il-leg-a-l on = leg, acting =a, bad = ill
24a lem-e Lunar Excursion Module = lem energy=e
