With a nail-biting tie it’s all up to Geeker - or not…

Sorry, I forgot I submitted a lame clue and missed the deadline.

If desired, I can cast a late vote (without reading prior votes, honest) to break the tie.

More apologies, I'm still at work and got sidetracked.

If you need my (technically illegal) vote, it's amej@16 (narrowly over jono@5, sam@15, tyke51@10, wil@7). I went through the thread backward and did not look at any prior votes.

Well I didn’t want to be the one to decide between 2 excellent clues so waited for Geeker (and then clean forgot as was out…)
Oh well.
We have a tie on 3 votes between Baccy’s excellent 19;

“Crossing the Rubicon? Sentinels give go-ahead”

And Spikes superb 20

“Allow reckless son to throw a little money around”

Since it’s been a while and Baccy may be exhausted after a traumatic Clueless next week I am awarding it to Spike.

Congrats Spike your alliterative prizes are a BBC version of Postman Pat;

and Peppa Pig;

Congratulations Spike, nice clue. Thank you Mattrom, Spike, Chris, Tyke and Jono for your votes and mentions.
Thanks for hosting Paul. I admit I was dubious at first about the word choice but then found I enjoyed the challenge of having to reset; and it's surprising the difference exchanging a single letter can make.
