Where do I start?

I’ve had a few attempts at this throughout the day and have solved a grand total of 8 clues.

How the heck do you read this clue?

Is “to pilot” in some way akin to “submitted”?

C/O = in charge of

Plot = chart (verb) them insert “I”

Well done for trying and persisting. They tend to get easier with (a lot) of practice. You might want to try mastering some of the easier ones first, like the Times Quick Cryptic, to build up your confidence. All the best, Paul.
