Hi emf - I've thought of that, but can't explain why!

Linda can be spelt Lynda (Chambers) and foreign indicates an anagram

where does the "n" come from (and why Bloke)?

Because Dylan is an anagram of Lynda

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts on this answer! - I have settled for Dylan.
Every week, this compiler frustrates the life out of me as I have answers which must be correct due to the letters I have, but as to explaining them with his clues - forget it !!
I wish the Express could get him to explain his answers and his clues every week!
