I've battled my way through this puzzle, but can't quite parse the last two across clues. They are:-
57 Across - "Arrive earlier than partner, gutted by online assignation?
PREDATE?
58 Across - "Flamboyant winger and token supporter of match.
BEST MAN?
I can't see any alternatives to these answers, but the "best man" and "online assignation" connections elude me at present.

I meant "flambyant winger" for the other connection I couldn't see.

Partner gutted is p(artne)r, and an e-date is an online one, as opposed to a physical one.

(George) Best was a flamboyant winger, and a man is a token in a game

So a best man is a supporter of a match, as in marriage
