Many thanks to all who participated, I really enjoyed reading all your clues. Chrise @19 chose my favourite browser as a definition while Geting @21 used one which is new to me! Simplesimon deserves praise for the hard work and skill which their clues demonstrate - personally I thought your @15 was the best. I liked Jamoza @22 & @23 and, of the anagram based clues, Jono @7, @14 and Geting @12 made my shortlist, along with Geeker @9 which managed to combine Cricket and particle physics to make an interesting clue!
Achieving a smooth surface with this subject matter was never going to be easy but Geting @12 ...

Thanks tyke and congrats geting. Just a shame that a browser isn't the same as a search engine, because otherwise your 10 would have been unbeatable!
