I am going to endorse Big Dave's comments from previous posts, as I am sure that he is tiring of repeating them, that not all the contributors to this Forum have the Telegraph and, for that reason, it would be of assistance to add the clue.

The answer is MARC, which is a brandy made from grape skins and the refuse from wine-making.
