After a bit of rubbing out and repositioning I got there. Very neat .

Solved lots of clues but have yet to slot much into the grid itself. Would be useful to have a steer on

SONS BEHOLD SECOND REDUCTION OF SPEED IN ART HOUSES, PERHAPS

and

WAS KILLED THERE IN ERROR

"sons beholds..." looks like usual abbrev for sons and archaic look! and a short abbrev for a second and the def is the last 7 words.

Three letter word for error with initials of US city inside.

I've gone at this like a bull at a gate - lots of scribbles on paper - then entered on grid as four separate quarters. They nearly fit - but a bit of confusion in the middle. Can I get help with "letter for beneficial gathering" please ? I think if I can be sure of that one the rest will slide in place ( I hope !! ) Thanks.
