Nothing “Quiptic” in this for me at all.

1a - For example, fine part of a football match (7)

5a - Directors need these self-catering trips sorted out (7)

13a - Put forward minister, one entertained by celebrity (8)

Excuse my inabilities if these are easy, but I cannot see a way to get their answers.

Can I please ask for some help?

SC for “self-catering” is not in any dictionary I own, nor the online ones from what I could find. I thought that was unfair, especially for a Quiptic.

While I’m complaining, I disapprove of the use of the Guardian crossword (today’s that is) to promote a bbc tv programme!

My chambers has "s/c" = self-catering (or self-contained). Whether the "/' makes it unfair is open to debate.
