Another fine offering this week. Grid fill wasn't as difficult as others in the past but the endgames (syllabic words/two words/21 letters) are each very neat and clever - as is the title. Some of the misprints and the extra letters were initially elusive and required back solving in a few cases to sort it all out.
cockie, you are looking for three words which, as Thom says, are synonyms of the theme, and link the apexes of a relevant shape. The letter count of the individual words is 24.
Thanks all. Got everything except the “boundaries”, but hint from gitto made it very easy to spot! All in all, a satisfying puzzle with extras and misprints slowly falling into place and helping with the solving.
But I don’t get the wordplay for 28ac .. it really does not seem to need a misprint at all. Any ideas?
I have a full grid and the instruction but I’m struggling to pass the following down clues 13, 21, and 25. Would love some help! Also, am I right in thinking one of the locations is made from down clues 27-31 and 5-9?
