Hmm, despite Cymro's hint, and others, I'm STILL not seeing the spoonerism! Which makes me think I might have the wrong answer. I've got a word for things/people that belong to bygone times, but is the definition actually torture devices??
I enjoyed this Everyman a lot more than last week. Good to see the rhyming pair back, and loads of clever witty clues to enjoy. Favourites were 15a, 18a and 4d. I also enjoyed the cleverness of 12d.
My only quibble is the definition of 13d. Surely it should have been change or alter, rather than rot?
