I have got to the same place as Buddy at post #1 but despite the various hints I have still not managed to join the two ends. I can't see how to represent the 1993 entry. Could someone please provide a hint for a more obtuse person?

I am completely stumped on the endgame. Got a full grid, but can't see anywhere to place a poet after editing.

Nice full grid. Stumped for the endgame though. Am I just going around changing letters at random and googling whether they appear in a poem? Seems like a pain.

In spite of reading all the posts here today I still can’t find a poet or a poem that gives me at least 3 verses although Malone at #11 tells us it’s timely and famous….please drop another hint???
