No posts for this one, perhaps not surprising, as was pretty gentle after some recent mind-melters. Just wanted to thank Phi for a nonetheless wonderful, clever puzzle. I wonder how many solvers know this work from an interpretation by a group from the 1970s. They were much-maligned, but I love their version, which everyone had but promptly hid come the punk pogrom of '77.

Yes I suspect most solvers, like me, have knowledge of this, and these key words from that version!
It was all over a bit too quick once theme emerged.
No idea on parsing of 3d though.

Hi Lumen, a voe is the same as a geo, or gio, a gully or creek in Orkney or Shetland

crates, the limit to reimbursement is R or T and for 9D "the last" refers to 8D, so it is an anagram of NO + A + 8D.
