My direction is N-S, W-E, and it should be N-S, E-W, my problem is there only seems to be 2 possible starting points and the first line should be vertical, and I cannot see it - unless my answers are wrong.

Gitto - have you compared your 8 cell feature to how it looks on a map?

I’m equally stuck. I see from the direction of the fourth feature and the positioning of the triangle that some unconventional thinking is required. I’m stuck trying to find the first letter which I assume is L. Can someone give me the starting cell please?

Countless times harry, and it appears to be flipped about a vertical axis. My symbol appears to be geographically correct - i.e. approximately 2/3rds of the way along it, meaning first letter 0f the 8 must not be in the water, so to speak.
