In English we have the idiom 'to have a frog in ones throat'. Swedish has a similar expression but uses an animal that translates to rooster or cock.
When I was still new in Sweden and communicated in English, I was once speaking to a model at an outdoor autumn party. Things were going fine, there was a lot of mist and fug, and she says to me, 'Sorry I have difficulty speaking because I have a **** in my throat. Yes, she chose the wrong word 😀
