Thank you, I think you are right, as I can explain:
1a Act with DD means fan in the sense of someone who is very keen on something = Addict
1d Anagram of A (one) plus CIA DUTY. Bottle in the sense of bravery or boldness = Audacity

The 'rock' tells you to shake, anagram 'star' and 'neo'....
