nothing to do with Ian Hay at all

Well Ian Hay did write about football grounds, Ninian Park?? But anyway you got it.

There seems to be at least two Ian Hay's who've published books.

I thought it was this one

But searching Amazon, I found the football writer too, which complicated things even further. I've stared at that clue for hours, and immediately after posting here - I got it!
