SS, that’s funny, I had just been exploring the same idea. Alice crops up in both ‘Discalced’ and ‘Carmelites’ but I didn’t get anywhere… not yet anyway :-)

Reminding you all that there are still about 15 hours to go. Also, my electrolysis didn’t get finished today so I have a couple more hours of torture tomorrow before I can head home. I expected buddy to reference Shoeless Joe, but Chris was a surprise. I really enjoyed Jono’s definitions and tyke’s slightly cheeky cryptic definition. Welcome back, Peter. You made my short list as well, as did aristo, with his nod to modern dance, which both my daughters are practitioners of. Finally, ginge, yes your definition was a bit of a stretch, but I loved the surface.
