Very well constructed as always from Piccadilly.

Any prods towards the PDM would be appreciated.

I have the full grid and have spotted 6 n - - - s in the relevant rows. Have Googled all / some together and not getting much in return. One of them has a thematic second part, but that’s all I can find so far…

H, take the (words from the circles) literally - the first noun goes inside the second noun, in the affected rows... (A bit like a Russian doll)

Another super puzzle, so a full house of satisfaction from this weekend's puzzles.

I haven't sussed the thematic across entry jumbles, and am left with an ambiguity for the two unches at 12 across.

I don't submit, having won the Telegraph pen and paper many moons ago. Is there still a prize on offer? I only ask since there is a space for name and address beneath the puzzle.

As Malone has said the six even numbered rows have a synonym for a colour round a name. That will resolve your ambiguity. The circled letters are a massive help. Yes, there is still the prize of a pen and notepad.
