Very difficult this week. Can any help with this rambling novella of a clue?:

54a Narrow trousers beginning to chafe on boy with black belt, maybe stage performer (3,6)

From the crossing letters I've got it might be 'tap dancer'.

narrow = taper
trousers means has inside.... dan (boy) c(beg to Chafe)

narrow is taper, trousers a containment indicator
Chafe
Dan - boy, possibly with black belt (judo)
